Today’s Show I’m bringing back one of my favorite guests who combines politico savvy, journalism bonefides, and entertainment roots, the handsome and charming James Duke Mason is joining me in studio. Duke has run for City Council in West Hollywood, worked on major political campaigns both local and national, and has written some great journalism pieces on advocacy and activism. His Duke’s Download has broadcast 50 Instagram Live interviews with celebrities and personalities from Boy George, to Governor Polis of Colorado, to actor Stephen Frye. We talk about his mom’s (Belinda Carlisle from the Gogo’s) big return to music over the past year, getting over heartbreak, and looking ahead to interviewing and writing again.
