I am happy to bring you my interview with Producer/Director Sam Irvin, who was a protege of Brian DePalma, friend of Vincent Price, Elvira and many more. From Horror films to Hallmark Movies, Sam has done it all, including the gay series Dante's Cove, featuring a very young and handsome Stephen Amell.
Sam's latest book, "I was a Teenage Monster Hunter," tells his tales of how he got interested in the horror genre, the amazing people that he was able to meet and interview, and is a whopping 21 hours of audio content. Best part, Sam is donating the proceeds of the sales of the book to The Trevor Project, so be sure to pick up your copy today.
This was the first interview I did for season 6 of this podcast after 5 seasons of Live, Audio only interviews and a 2 year break due to the Pandemic. Sam graciously agreed to be my guinneau pig for my first ever Video interview and anything that could go wrong did and it took us 3 months to get it good enough to post (there's still ugly audio sync issues, but MUCH better than the original cut. Thanks Sam for your patience and understanding and being such a stand up guy!
