On this episode of the A Story Not Forgotten podcast Liam speaks with Lourdes Juan, founder of a not-for-profit called the Leftovers Foundation. Every year in Canada, we throw away over $31 Billion worth of perfectly good food. This has been a huge problem for many years, but this Calgarian entrepreneur is stepping up with a solution. Working with organizations like Cobs Bread and Starbucks, along with more than 200 volunteers in Calgary & Edmonton, they redirect more than 4,000 pounds of food each week to organizations that help to get that food where it is needed most.
