With the recent death of author Anne McCaffrey I took the opportunity to look at five of the biggest science fiction personalities and their “gifts” to the science fiction world.  Along the way I got some great comments by previous guests on Highway to Mars, learned some things about Rick that I didn’t know, had to face up to my fathers mortality and ultimately my own.  Needless to say the thunderstorm that passed though my neck of the woods while I was recording was somewhat appropriate.
