The last time a Haitian president was assassinated, the United States invaded Haiti and occupied it for two decades. U.S. pundits are already calling for the US, OAS, and UN to invade and occupy that country. Since the U.S. has been intimately involved in Haiti's domestic affairs for over a century, is it any wonder Haiti is one of the most politically unstable and impoverished countries in the world?
