The Mature Series from Furry, Explained, is an investigation into the adult side of the furry fandom, a side that is very controversial for those the general public and furries alike. We take a look into what has made this particular side of the fandom so divisive, and why, depending on who you ask, it is one of the best or worst parts about being a furry.

In  Part 3 of the Mature Series, we investigate why so many furries also happen to be members of the LBGTQIA+ community. An overwhelming majority of furries identify as something other than straight, making it one of the very few communities where that is the case. Because of the overwhelming overlap, there is some discourse of including furries under the LGBTQ umbrella, connecting the two communities into one. But that is a dangerous precedent to set, and on today's episode, we explain why, despite so many furries being members of the LGBTQ community, the two communities remain separate remain separate from one another..
