While the two may be similar, fursonas have a number of attributes that differentiate themselves away from characters. But the two are commonly to refer to one another and used interchangeably, something that even we have done on this show before! But looking deeper into the semantics of the two words, it becomes clear that a fursona is not a character, it is something much more. And on this episode, we look into the definitions of both a character and a fursona, and identify the reasons why fursonas should be considered to be a lot more special!
