Ahoy hoy! While we work on bringing you more episodes, I decided to try my hand in audio commentary. Every Friday in summer I will record audio commentaries for romcoms, or as I like to call them, Romcommentaries, and digest the films in both a structured and more realistically unstructured discussion about the power of cinematic love. You can listen to the commentary while watching the film, or enjoy it as a solo piece. There are no rules. 

Pack your bags and bring your dog cause this week’s Romcommentary is Legally Blonde! Together we explore the vast depths of feminist power in the disguise of a romcom, Reese Witherspoon’s career, and how much I actually don’t know what happens in this film. This episode could use some mascara and some serious highlights, but she's not completely unfortunate looking. Movie starts at 3:56.

* This episode features a problematic misreading of the film quote, "I need a Jackie, not a Marilyn," by saying "I need a Jackie, not a Kennedy," and then using the inverse of it as if to correct the situation by making it worse.  All claims of being the "residential expert on Legally Blonde," should be ignored. *
