Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz & Blues Singer Janice Harrington .. Described by the international press as warm-hearted and unique and these days at 80 years old she is still active. Born in 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio, with a stopover in Norway, she now lives in Germany with her husband, trombonist and piano builder ..  Known as a versatile artist, she masters blues, jazz and gospel singing, as well as acting and music production, and looks back on a decades-long career that has carried her around the world. Those travels will land her in Kansas City here in March 2023 .. On March 22 at the Uptown Lounge, March 23 at Kunckleheads, March 26 at KC Bier Co. and March 27 at The Blue Room.. She’s got a wonderful tale to tell .. Enjoy ..
