It was very interesting to read as I do not know much about Legends form Wales. If you like mystery and history it would be interesting for you as you never know where is the true and where is a myth. Always curious but you cannot stop reading as it catches your heart. Liked this book!

Myths and Tales
These stories are short but interesting. One thing I like is the background the author gives. All stories have reasons for being told.
How they got such heart!
If you want to gather a better understanding of the Welsh and the rugged country they live in Legends and Myths From Wales is a must read. In 1978, I conducted military training in the Snowdonia area of Wales. The two months spend in Wales is forever etched in my mind. I played a game called âmurder-ballâ and will never forget it. In all my life, I never met such a hearty, strong, and weather-adverse group of people. After reading Watkinsâs book, I have a better understanding of the people and country.
