Guich Koock is a tenth generation Texan, former owner of Luckenbach, Texas, Texas folklorist/storyteller and actor.  His family roots in Austin, Texas taught him early the values of diversity, justice and humor.  Take a walk through time as he shares memories: from his family's prominence in Austin, Texas, to the family's homestead where you never knew who would be at the table when you came down to breakfast.  The many characters from the neighboring communities and the family home that later became the first segregated restaurant in the country and had a well-known and longstanding reputation for hospitality, good food and great conversation.  And last but not least, how Luckenbach, Texas became famous all around the world.
