Good morning, Lehi listeners. It’s Wednesday, July 30th, and you’re waking up to another sunny start in Utah County. Early temperatures are mild, with the mercury expected to climb into the upper 80s by the afternoon. According to The Weather Network, today’s UV index will be very high, peaking at 9, so be ready with sunscreen, hats, and plenty of water, especially if you’re heading outside over the lunch hour.
For those with allergies, local conditions could be a challenge today. Grass and weed pollen counts remain moderate to high, so you might want to keep windows closed and run those air filters. Lehi high school sports saw some action last night. The Lehi Pioneers baseball team pulled off a close win over the American Fork Cavemen, finishing with a score of 6 to 5. Over on the soccer field, Skyridge Falcons’ varsity girls secured a shutout victory against Pleasant Grove, finishing 2 to 0, continuing their impressive summer season.
