A Lehi mother is facing two criminal charges in connection to the death of her 8-year-old son who accidentally shot himself in the head at a Lehi gas station. She told police that the weapon had been beneath the driver's seat in the minivan; however, there was no holster nor any type of secure retention container for the handgun in the vehicle.
