Lehi woke up to clear blue skies and a refreshing morning breeze Thursday, with temperatures climbing comfortably into the low 80s by midday. Pollen counts hovered at moderate levels, mostly thanks to blooming grass and wildflowers, but the air quality index remained clean—perfect conditions for a summer stroll or backyard barbecue.

Celebration is in the air as the city gears up for the beloved Lehi Round-Up, now in its 88th year. This year’s theme, Adventure Awaits, sets the tone for a week packed with rodeo thrills, lively parades, and community spirit. One of the most anticipated highlights is the Mini Parade, a charming showcase of local creativity rolling through downtown and sure to draw smiles from all ages. Tonight, dust off your boots and join the fun—newcomers and longtime residents alike are welcomed with open arms for this truly Lehi experience.

History enthusiasts won’t want to miss the unveiling of the latest historical marker at the Thomas Austin Home on East 500 North, scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday evening. This community event celebrates Lehi’s rich past and continues a tradition of preserving local heritage. Family and friends can expect displays, refreshments, and heartfelt stories honoring both the Austin family and the city’s pioneer roots.

The spotlight was also on Lehi’s youth this week at Skyridge High, where Haylee Sullivan claimed the title of Miss Lehi’s Teen 2025. Sullivan impressed judges with her dedication to military families through her service initiative, No Family Left Behind, giving special attention to the sacrifices of Utah’s veterans and their loved ones. Her compassion and leadership are inspiring a new wave of service in Lehi.

Speaking of service, the Show Up for Summer Service Fair on Wednesday drew enthusiastic crowds looking to make a difference. Dozens of nonprofits and community groups offered volunteer opportunities, making it easier than ever for Lehi citizens to get involved and lend a helping hand.

In local sports, Lehi High’s summer leagues kicked off spirited play, with the boys’ baseball team edging out a 6-5 win over rivals from American Fork in a game packed with late-inning drama. Youth soccer teams are back on the fields, and registration for fall leagues remains open for anyone ready to join the action.

With beautiful weather, celebrations, and spirited civic pride, Lehi is truly living up to its Round-Up motto: Adventure Awaits.
