Lelia Marino of Ms. Rain's Conjure Shop has been a practitioner of root work and conjure for 20 years. Raised in Staten Island, New York, her paternal lineage has over 100 years of history on the Island with most of her family members buried in the historic Sandy Ground Cemetery located in the Rossville area. Sandy Ground is one of New York City's oldest African-American enclaves. One of the community's greatest assets was the Rossville AME Zion Church, founded in 1850. The Rossville AME Zion Church's most notable member was Reverend Thomas James, famed abolitionist and civil rights leader. It also, most famously, served as a stop on the Underground Railroad during the Civil War.
She is a Reiki Master with two bands of energetic healing and is certified in Crystal Therapy. Lelia is also initiated in the lineage of Palo Kimbisa.
