A 7-time Heavyweight Champion and 12-time Tag Team Champion, Len Denton’s masked persona, The Grappler, was a mainstay of the twilight years of the Pacific Northwest. A well-traveled talent, the Grappler spent time in multiple territories racking up win after win while crossing paths with a multitude of talent, including Ted DiBiase, Curt Hennig, Blackjack Mulligan, Playboy Buddy Rose and Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorf, just to name a select few. His program with Orndorf gave The Grappler the insight Bill Watts needed to push Len Denton To the moon. His work behind the scenes in Portland may well be even more important than what he accomplished in the ring, but there is no denying The Grappler Len Denton is a worthy entrant in any professional wrestling Hall of Fame anywhere in the world.
