Lenie Ibanez is of Filipina descent and has spent the majority of her childhood and most of her adulthood in Canada until her recent move to London, UK for Law school. She completed her undergraduate degree at Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication studies. Lenie has worked in the finance, banking, real estate industries in marketing and business development roles.She commenced her law conversion course for the GDL at the University of Law. Lenie won the first ever Women’s Empowerment Scholarship from the Miranda Brawn Diversity Foundation, has volunteered as a mentor for the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, and is currently completing her Masters in International Business Law. Lenie founded the International Students Society at the University of Law and continues to oversee its operations and has continued to grow the society since inception.
