2 Samuel 7 King David wants to build a house for the ark of God replacing the tent as a permanent upgrade. The LORD quickly communicates through Nathan the prophet that it's neither the time nor is David the one to build the proposed Temple. Who determines the time and the builder that God will use to propel His plan forward? Is it we children of God who really desire this good thing; or is the timing and the person a choice of our Sovereign LORD?
