Leon MacDonald: Dagg ruled out for Hurricanes clash
The Crusaders have ruled Israel Dagg out of consideration for Saturday night's highly-anticipated Super Rugby derby against the Hurricanes.
The All Blacks utility back has recovered from knee surgery, but Crusaders assistant coach Leon MacDonald says they're trying to organise a hit-out for him before throwing him in the deep end.
"Whether it's a club game or live training, I'm not sure, but he'll need a decent hit out this week."
