One person fits the mold of dentist, musician, Pastor, entrepreneur and community advocate, and that is Dr. Leonard S. Scott. Dr. Scott is the founder and CEO of the nation’s oldest black-owned and operated gospel recording company, Tyscot Music & Entertainment, which has been home to superstar recording artists John P. Kee & New Life Community Choir, Deitrick & Damita Haddon, Dr. Bobby Jones, the Anointed Pace Sisters, Bishop Noel Jones & City of Refuge and currently the legendary The Rance Allen Group, Anthony Brown & group therAPy, Casey J, and Lonnie Hunter, just to name a few. Dr. Scott, as a pillar in the gospel music community, recieved, in 2017, the Stellar Honors Hall of Fame Award and the Gospel Music Association Legacy Award. In addidtion to his music ministry, Dr. Scott has successfully served his community as a dentist at Scott Dentistry in Indianapolis, Indiana for over 40 years. He currently pastors the Rock Community Church in Indianapolis, Indiana and has traveled throughout the United States and overseas proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ.
