Leonard K. Wang is a third-year medical student at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He studied Honors Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Medicine and Society at the University of Houston through an accelerated BS/MD program. Leonard is an Osler Student Scholar in the John P. McGovern Academy of Oslerian Medicine. He plans to pursue a career at the intersection of clinical practice, policy, and healthcare management to reduce health inequities and provide compassionate care to the underserved.
