Welcome to the 12th episode of Wild Society!
Before she was known as the “soap maker of Correggio“, Leonarda Cianciulli was a devoted Italian mother who just wanted to keep her favorite child safe from World War II. Becoming obsessed with superstition and believing sacrifice was the only way to save her son, Leonarda turned to a, dare I say, “creative” way of murdering her victims. Move over Gordon Ramsey, this is the real Hell’s kitchen.
Part two of this week’s episode features Sarah Winchester, an heir to the Winchester Repeating Arms Company fortune, who claims she was being haunted by the ghosts of people killed with Winchester guns. After seeking out a psychic medium who confirmed she was being haunted, Sarah was instructed to move to California and continue building onto a home to confuse the ghosts. The home is now known as a “mystery” house because of its many quirks and labyrinth appeal.
