At one time, Bobby was what could be called a "true believer" in paranormal phenomenon. Having been an active investigator of the paranormal for 12 years with several different Toledo based teams, he has examined countless claims of activity. But years worth of research and investigation proved to him that the evidence for these claims are generally lacking and, furthermore, the vast majority of so-called scientific paranormal investigators were using improper methodologies which caused them to draw both false and misleading conclusions.
Aside from field investigations, he has also pursued laboratory testing of several items which have been a big topic of conversation with paranormal enthusiasts; such as Ghost Boxes and Ouija Boards. During these tests, Bobby has shown how these items fail time and time again under proper controlled conditions.
He has studied and lectured on such topics as real open mindedness, scepticism, EVP, subjective validation, and the psychological observation known as the Forer Effect.
Bobby is a frequent guest on programs such as PSI FI Para Radio and Paradigm Project Radio, where his easy going personality and reliable information have made him a hit with show hosts and listeners alike.
