Aujourd’hui, nous écoutons un reportage sur la prolifération des algues vertes en France. Celui-ci se trouve à Plouha en Bretagne. Les algues sont là à cause des fermiers qui épandent des nitrates et qui polluent les rivages partout en France, et les autorités ne savent pas bien ce que faire.

Today, we’re listening to a newsreel on the proliferation of green algae in France. This one is located in Plouha, Brittany. The algae is induced by the farmers’ over use of nitrogen and is polluting the shore all over France, and the authorities don’t quite know how to deal with it.
