Cameron Esposito is a comedian, actor and writer. She hosts a weekly standup show, "Put Your Hands Together," at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles. She and her wife, Rhea Butcher, co-starred in critically acclaimed television series "Take My Wife."
Cameron has been named a Comic to Watch by The New York Times, Variety, The Guardian, LA Weekly, Time Out Los Angeles, Jezebel, Los Angeles Magazine and Cosmopolitan Magazine.
Cameron talks with Bassem about figuring out she was gay, leading with her queer identity, being married to another comic, and how she hopes to help those who come next. Cameron also asks Bassem a few questions about dancing in Egypt.
