The Entrepreneur and Human Development Practitioner, Mr Lesego Tau, could have become statistics of the so called lost youth. Growing up in Soweto, he became a gambling fanatic and almost became a full time shoplifting criminal. As he mentions, he was saved by an educator, one of his former teachers, who instilled a sense of importance in him and encouraged him to keep on trying. When he could not afford university education he became depressed and almost drifted back into gambling. The NGO, Love Life, came to his rescue. He volunteered and was appointed Community Liaison Officer in Dobsonville. Since then his North Star has been shining.
