Lesley Roy is an Irish singer-songwriter from Dublin. Roy was signed to an independent Irish label in 2006 followed by a record deal with US label Jive Records and then she represented Ireland in the Eurovision. She chats with me about not being able to be seen as gay when she first worked in the states. Meeting her wife shortly after coming out and being in a 15 year long relationship and advice for successful longterm monogamous relationship. We also talk about mental health here verses home.
