Alcohol Alert, September 2019: This episode focuses on the release of a report looking into the advice given by midwives to pregnant women about alcohol consumption.

The survey behind the report ‘Alcohol guidelines for pregnant women: Barriers and enablers for midwives to deliver advice’ – highlights the inconsistency in official guidance that led to four out of ten midwives stating that they were not aware of the actual content of the 2016 alcohol guidelines on pregnancy.
