Leslie is a Brooklyn-born activist, organizer, and writer. Her work is dedicated to Black lives and liberation. She founded the Ferguson Response Network as a means of connecting activists nationwide, and is a Founding Lead Organizer for Black Lives of Unitarian Universalism (BLUU).
