This week we are joined by Burlesque expert @lesliezemeckis who educates us on how the women at the beginning of the 20th century found freedom and preempted feminism in Burlesque. The women of America's old school Burlesque scene took their own opportunities, to make their own art and their own money. Leslie is an actress and award wining author and filmmaker who - like the women whose stories she tells - has learned not to take 'no' for an answer.
