-John is a teacher and coach with over a decade of experience in the classroom and on the sidelines. 

-After graduating college, John spent time working for The Iowa State University Football Team as well as the San Francisco 49ers.

-In 2016, John completed his Masters degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine.

-John currently teaches 7th Grade Social Studies and is a high school Football and Wrestling Coach.

-Coach Torrey is the author of “More Than a Game” and is Co-Host of the Culture Classroom Podcast.
