The God of “steadfast love” (109:21, 26) is also a consuming fire who terrifies like a hurricane (see 83:14-15). Is there any way you need to alter your perception of God? Ask Him. See if He wants to give you a fuller picture of His character, then pray that your heart will be humble and receptive.
