If given the option to choose trust and attention, it's a good idea to go for Trust. Attention is fickle and just as easily as you got the person's attention, something or someone else can get their attention too. However trust takes a long time to build but once it's built, it lasts way longer. It's better to have deeper roots than to have a flash in the pan.
