From the moment of creation, God’s desire has been to dwell with His people and redeem them. This lesson begins with Genesis 1, where God brings order out of chaos, and highlights the dignity of man—created just a little lower than God and given dominion. But through deception in the garden, Satan sought to usurp that dominion, leading to the fall of humanity.
Yet even in judgment, God promised a Redeemer. From the first animal sacrifice to the limitations of the Law, we see the pattern of blood being shed to cover sin. But only Jesus—the spotless Lamb, our Kinsman Redeemer—could offer true remission. His one perfect sacrifice opened the way to Heaven, tore the veil, and conquered death, hell, and the grave.
Now, through the new covenant in His blood, we are not just forgiven—we are restored, redeemed, and made heirs with Christ. The plan was never temporary. Redemption has always been God’s eternal purpose. One day, we will reign with Him in glory!
This lesson explores the full scope of redemption—from Eden to eternity—and calls us to respond with gratitude, obedience, and hope.
