Most people, both Christians and Jews, are not familiar with the beauty and grace of the Wisdom Books of the Old Testament with the exception of the Psalms. Much of this is due to their rejection by the ancient Palestinian Jews because some of these Books were written in Greek rather than Hebrew or Aramaic, and for other odd reasons. These seven books are a great source to inspire prayer and to form a deeper understanding of God’s love for His creation.
