"My normal response to discomfort is to fix it, put it away, pass through it. But innovation comes from discomfort.... I want to unlearn what I am an 'expert in.'" As a teach, Katherine mentions honoring the ability to be consistently challenged in what she already knows by the curious minds of her students. This causes her to always be researching, listening, and learning.
