You're going to make mistakes and the lessons from those mistakes are what will give you the experience you need to not make them again. 

You'll make them daily, but you'll quit repeating them once you've extracted the lesson from them and broken the pattern. 

Fail fast. 

Fail quick. 

Fail forward. 

Everytime that I've made a mistake, I ask myself what the lesson is. 

When you understand the mistakes you make are part of growing you into a better human being, you'll become empowered and understand it's a good thing as long as you don't repeat them. 

Over time, you'll change your perspective and how you think about mistakes.  This is where you'll get better and better every single time gaining the expertise necessary to make you that much more powerful. 

I became an expert on marriage since I've been married 4 times.

I've become the expert on how not to stay out of prison early in my life after being incarcerated a few times. 

The lessons are in the mistakes. 

Extract them. 

Learn from them. 

Embrace them. 

But do not repeat the mistakes.
