Most of the problems in our societies today are caused by our ignorance and carelessness. Joseph issues with his brothers was not necessarily part of God's plan for him but for the carelessness and insensitivity of Jacob. Jacob obviously excessive affection on Joseph almost ruin Joseph's life. Parents have to be careful in raising their children so that they leave no room to hatred in the family.
