The year 2020 as we count years on earth has been a fairly unusual one that took all of the world by surprise, with the Covid-19 pandemic grinding all of man's activities to a halt.  For some people the year has been painful and traumatic with the loss of loved ones, loss of earnings and the inability to live life as usual.  Yet for some it has been another lovely year, a divine gift from God who alone has the power of life and death in His hands.

As we hope to enter into another earthly year, the pandemic continues and most people across the world are still hampered in their activities. So...what lessons were learnt in 2020 and what are the plans we can make or have made for the year 2021?  In this sermon, I will endeavour to clarify what the Word of God says about how we live and plan our lives on earth.
