While "Avengers: The End Game" has quickly become the second highest grossing movie of all time, it is but a well planned installment of Marvel's growing cinematic universe. In total it includes 4 phases, 22 movies, and billions in revenue. To pull this off, Marvel would have had to design a strategy for that 11-year period, which included not only a plan for the movies but the necessary skills and people to pull it all off. While some movie studios have a hard time getting out their planned movies in a given year, Marvel was thinking years, if not decades ahead.
