Reverend continued sharing on lessons on loyalty. He talked about how with time our loyalty will be tested.

Verses: 1 Samuel 20:13, James 4:4 Luke. 14: 26, Numbers 1:1

1. Reverend explained that, Loyalty is based on principles but not emotion/feeling.

* He continued by saying that , decisions made on emotions are not substantial.

* He liken it to the fact that Jonathan was not moved by emotion to eliminate David in order to take up the throne of Israel but rather followed the principles of God to making David the King of Israel._ 1 Samuel 20:13

2. Reverend continued by saying that Loyalty will cost us relationship and friendship... James 4:4

* He told us that, if we make ourselves friends to the world, we become enemies of God.

* He emphasized on the fact that, being loyal to God demands that you must let go worldly relationship and friendship( mother, father, siblings, sons, and daughters)..._ Luke 14:26

3. Reverend emphasized on the fact that loyalty may cause you physical things...

_ Hebrew 11: 24

* To be loyal, sometimes you will loose physical things like cars, nice houses and privileges.

* Reverend talked about loyalty using the story of Moses by explaining to us how Moses refused to be called Pharaoh's daughter son and left behind all the pleasures, privileges and royalties which was bestowed on him as one of the King's sons but chose to suffer with the people of God.

Even as we listen to our Father, may we be challenged to be loyal and pray for the spirit of loyalty. Amen.
