If you were fortunate enough to have your dad teach you some of these valuable life-lessons, consider yourself blessed. Many were not.
For everyone, however, there are nuggets in these two episodes that will add incredible value to your life and help you step into a higher level of living.
In part 1, Mike shares 15 lessons your dad should have taught you about health and wealth.
HEALTH
1. Treat your body like it’s the only body you’ll ever have... because it is.
2. If you’re frustrated, find a healthy outlet for that frustration (like the gym).
3. Practice gratitude.
4. Avoid drugs.
5. Limit your intake of pharmaceutical drugs as much as possible. Always look for natural remedies first.
For more on this subject, check out the episode: Mike and Jackie Talk Health (Spiritual. Emotional, Physical, Financial & Relational)
WEALTH
6. Dress for success.
7. Work hard: It’s what separates the winners from 2nd place. Work smart: It’s what separates the wealthy from the rest.
8. The government is not the solution. Many times the government created the problem. Freedom, work, and opportunity are the solutions. Look for opportunities, and seize them.
9. Be generous (with your time, treasure, talent, love and encouraging words).
10. Pay your debts.
11. Protect your credit.
12. Don’t wait to buy real estate, buy real estate and wait.
13. Buy a car that is a year old. If you must have a new car, lease it.
14. View your work as an opportunity to develop yourself.
15. Network. Network. Network.
