Ever feel “let down” by your teen? Ever have trouble trusting her again after she’s messed up big time?

No parent makes it through raising a family without having their trust broken a few times. If you have teens at home, there’s no doubt you’ve witnessed a few mammoth mistakes!

So, how do you trust again? One thing I’d encourage you to do is acknowledge the pain. You’re a relational being, you had hopes and dreams for your family, and now your trust is broken. Be aware of how you were hurt and work through the emotions.

Then, consider how God is using this event to teach you about His grace and His trustworthiness. We’ll all let each other down, but God can always be trusted!
