Knowing when it’s time to let go is hard. Walking away is harder, it’s not for the faint at heart, nor the weak.   Love is a ruthless game where only the strong survives. Walking away from love is necessary to maintain your sense of self. As emotional creatures we tend to forget the golden rule about love…love don’t love nobody. Love is an emotion that comes and goes, it’s not a state of being. The only love you can truly count on is love for yourself; therefore You must protect yourself from toxic relationships, whether it's a friendship, romantic relationship, or professional.
