Probably the easiest day in our walk with Christ is day one, where all we had to do was confess our sins, acknowledge our need for Jesus and receive Him into our heart--His free gift of salvation and the future of living in heaven with Him, right? John 3:16 tells us of this promise. Now, I know you've probably heard that little saying that a 1000 mile journey begins with the first step, and yet many of us choose to remain stuck in those first few steps of salvation because we're not letting Jesus lead us in His Way of doing things. He desires for us to have abundant life down the trail, but we must submit ourselves now to His Truth, which is His Word, in order to experience His Life on this journey with Him. So, if you're tired of struggling with darkness and sin in your life, or if you feel weak in your commitment to Him, start today. His gracious kindness and mercy is available no matter where you're at on the trail! He even offers us help with carrying our loads in Matthew 11:28-30. He is ready to help us walk this life out--but we must let Him have His Way!
