There are two sayings among the youth in China: Laying Flat and, Let It Rot. These two phrases get to the heart of a country in serious economic, social, and political trouble.  The problems facing Xi and the communist party are immense and possibly endemic to communism.  

Will Xi be able to save the country?  Well, the jury is out on that question.
