It's hard to establish any kind of rhythm if you can't hear the beat. Jesus knew that, and so in Matthew 11:28-30, he invites all of us to come to him, take from him, and learn from him. In short, he offers to lead us in a delicate dance to develop rhythms in our faith. Instead of indicting us for burnout, he is inviting us to rest. But first, we must say yes to the rest, and that begins with having a Savior.
