This is our most powerful episode yet.  Parrish interviews author, activist and clergy abuse survivor Sandy Phillips Kirkham about her childhood in her local Protestant church.  Sandy was molested by her youth pastor, who was 30 years old, married and with children.  The abuse went on for 5 years.  Though he had been accused before, and admitted it, people did not believe Sandy when she came forward many years later.  The pastor was moved around from church to church with no punishment whatsoever.  Sandy has spent the last 20 years speaking out about her abuse and doing whatever she can to help heal others along the way.  She has written a book this episode was named after which goes into great detail about her trials and tribulations.
