Let Mercy Lead
Galatians 6:1-10

Living by grace doesn’t mean freedom to live for yourself but freedom to live for God. Keeping in step with the Spirit means living by the Spirit's power. In this passage, Paul shifts gears and talks about what this looks like in community! He is going to show us that you can’t do this on your own. We need each other, which means we need accountability and expectations, but we also need help, and we need mercy.

Characteristics of a merciful church:

• They restore fallen brethren
• They relieve heavy burdens
• They reject arrogant boasting
• They relish God’s business
• They reward good leaders
• They refuse to give up
