Homily for Wednesday of the Third Week in Lent, 2022, delivered in Our Lady Star of the Sea, Gladstone, Qld.
"... have life; enter and take possession; keep [and] observe [these] laws and customs [which] will demonstrate to the peoples your wisdom and understanding..." (cf. Deut 4:1-9).
"Salvation comes from the Jews." (Jn 4:22 cf. Nostra Aetate; Dominus Iesus).
"Do not imagine I have come to abolish... I have come not to abolish but to complete — not one dot, not one little stroke, shall disappear: [Therefore] be considered great in the kingdom of heaven [by] keep[ing] and teach[ing]" all that has been received. (cf. Mt 5:17-19).
